Food for Thought on the Covid-19 Shot

Have you gotten your Covid-19 vaccine yet? If you were like me, you are worried about getting it. You can't be sure what's in it, you don't know what the side effects will be in 10 years, you aren't sure if it's really a good shot because they came out so quickly, and so on. You give excuses about getting it too, like "I will get it when everyone else who needs it has gotten it" or "it's not a good time for me to be down with symptom side effects right now."

I was so against getting the shot for all of these reasons and gave these excuses until last week. It dawned on me that I'm not trusting God to take care of me. He is bigger than this stupid shot and He knows what is going to happen. I believe that if it is His wish He can protect us from any major side effects ten years down the line - if there even are any.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." -Proverbs 3:5-6

"The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe." -Proverbs 29:25

Don't be swayed by fear mongering and there is a ton of it. I see so many YouTube channels where people are saying all kinds of things about the vaccine being the Mark of the Beast and they have put all kinds of trackers and things in it. If you really think about it, that sounds ridiculous. If the vaccine were the Mark of the Beast then wouldn't God have made it EXTREMELY obvious that it was? Christians can't accidentally take the mark of the beast. And as for weird stuff they might put in the vaccine like trackers - they don't need too. That phone in your hand that you take everywhere is your tracker.

I will take a moment to say that I do believe that the vaccine is one of the things conditioning mankind for the upcoming mark of the beast because people are in some respects being forced to get it. A lot of places have said that they will make it so you can't attend events, enter government buildings, or even fly without a vaccine. (University of Illinois, Public schools in Louisiana, NFL, and more) I believe that this is just getting us use to the idea to make resistance less in the future. This along with a bunch of other things that have been happening.

My point is lean on God and trust Him. It's just a vaccine just like all the other vaccines out there. It's there to help us. Studies and time have shown that it has helped us. I could rant about how the vaccine could be creating all these mutations as the virus gets stronger (like the flu does), but it really doesn't matter at this point. Enough people have the vaccine that the mutations are inevitable and if you don't get vaccinated you are even more likely to die from them. (Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional but this is the conclusion I have drawn from looking at information from Geert Vanden Bossche a specialist.)

Two good reasons to get the vaccine is to do it for those who can't and do it for your friends and family. There are people that could have a severely allergic reaction and die from the vaccine and there are people who have health conditions like cancer that can't get the vaccine. You getting it prevents the spread if you happen to come in contact with them. Also it's good to do for your family and friends to protect them from the spread.

Conclusion

So to sum up, you need to trust God and get the vaccine if you have not. Do it for those who can't and to protect those you love. Yes we may have to get boosters like the flu shot, but it's manageable. God will take care of you if you let go and trust Him with this decision. He is bigger than any evil plot Satan could be behind and can shield you. Ignore fear mongers and listen to Him.

"When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust, I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?" -Psalm 56:3-4
